The Whosoever
Will Gospel
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
In a day when there is so much confusion about the Word of God and the plan of salvation, please take time to read this brochure completely with a prayerful heart and an open mind. Since there is confusion about this subject, remember where this confusion comes from. 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." Since God is not the author of it, then Satan has to be. With that in mind let us examine the facts:
ALL MEN ARE SINNERS
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
ALL MEN MUST BE BORN AGAIN
John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:7, "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
THE WAGES OF SIN
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
Revelation 20:14, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
GOD LOVES ALL SINNERS
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Ephesians 2:4, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,"
1 John 4:10, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
GOD’S WILL IS TO SAVE ALL MEN
2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
John 1:7, "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe."
1 Timothy 2:4-6, "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
Titus 2:11, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,"
JESUS DIED FOR ALL MEN
Romans 5:6, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
ALL MEN ARE DRAWN UNTO GOD
John 12:32, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."
GOD DRAWS ALL MEN THROUGH PREACHING OF THE WORD
Romans 10:17, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Romans 10:14, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
1 Corinthians 1:21, "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
GOD GIVES ALL MEN A CHOICE
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
Acts 2:21, "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
John 1:7, "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe."
ALL MEN MUST REPENT OF THEIR SIN
Acts 17:30, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"
Luke 13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
ALL MEN WILL DIE AND STAND BEFORE GOD IN JUDGMENT
Hebrews 9:27, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
2 Corinthians 5:10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
Revelation 20:12, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
After looking at all these scriptures, we must conclude without any doubt that:
1. ALL men are sinners,
2. Christ loves ALL men,
3. Christ died for ALL men,
4. Christ draws ALL men,
5. ALL men must be born again,
6. ALL men must call upon the Lord,
7. ALL men must repent,
8. ALL men will die,
9. ALL men must face God in judgment.
These scriptures also prove to us that God gives man a choice. God does not nor has He ever picked some to go to Heaven and some to go to Hell. God knows the end from the beginning and therefore knows who will go to Hell and who will go to Heaven. This is known as the fore-knowledge of God. But to say God has chosen some for Hell and Some for Heaven is absurd and steps out of the bounds of the Gospel and the Bible. The Bible is the living written contract between God and man. It cannot be altered to fit our theology. God has done His part (sent His Son to Die and rise again), Jesus has done His part (died on the cross), the Holy Spirit is doing His part (convicting and drawing), and man must do his part (call upon the name of the Lord and repent).
God has given, is giving, and will give man a space to repent. It will be up to him to make the choice. Man’s eternal destiny is not chosen by God Almighty, it is chosen by man himself. To choose Christ is making a choice for Heaven and to reject Christ is to make a choice for Hell.
God has done, is doing, and will continue to do all He can to keep man out of Hell. But the final choice is up to man. As death finds him so will it be.
The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for ALL men. He did not die for just a certain few.
